Since the script was discharged earlier this week, Hollywood has been all buzzing over Quentin Tarantino’s new project, Django Unchained. Tarantino is going back into the squasy historical dominion of his 2009 film Inglorious Basterds for Django, the story of a enslaved person who is trained in the fine art of revenge by a mystical German bounty hunter.

High-profile director Tarantino, who can have pretty much any actor he wants in his films, has been making some freakish casting choices for Django so far. First, he said he wanted nice guy Will Smith in the gritty title role; now, he’s saying he wants Stephanie Germanotta, better known as Lady Gaga, for a role in his film.

When you think about it, their partnership actually makes sense- Gaga is well known for her unconventional footgear, and Tarantino is well known for his love of feet (rumour has it he makes all celebs audition for him barefoot). It’s a match made in foot juju heaven!
